Monday, 11th January, 2010

Two Secondary Schools in Angus, Webster’s High School, Kirriemuir and Brechin High School completed project work to highlight Domestic Abuse and the White Ribbon Campaign during the 16 days of Action.

Webster’s High School, 6th Year students produced a power-point presentation which was presented to all pupils and teaching staff at school assemblies during the course of one week. In addition, pupils were invited to sign their own pledge on White Ribbons in the school and invited to wear white ribbons.

Brechin High School pupils had a number of awareness raising activities, including wearing white ribbons and making their own human white ribbon in the school grounds.
