Our network is currently mainly composed of practitioners and activists, but we are now building the number of researchers involved in the network. We are working in partnership with the National Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Programme at the Scottish Government Health Directorate and the Centre for Research on Families and Relationships at the University of Edinburgh to develop a Gender Based Violence Researcher Network.
The network aims to connect researchers working on VAW-related research and to connect them to practitioners through the existing VAW Prevention Network. It offers opportunities to collaborate, prevent duplication of efforts and share good practice on the methodological issues in GBV research.
Please complete the form below in order to join our network and be included in a new online directory of researchers working on violence against women issues. Membership is free and as a network member you will be able to receive and contribute to a monthly enews bulletin to share updates, upload information to our website and receive invitations to our events.
