Criminal Justice and Licensing Bill: Support the anti-stalking amendment

Wednesday, 7th April, 2010

Ann Moulds, founder of Campaign Action Scotland attended Scottish Parliament on 23rd March to give oral evidence to the Justice Committee in support of Rhoda Grant’s amendment for specific anti stalking legislation.  If successful lenient sentencing for perpetrators of stalking crime will be assigned to history.

Ann is calling for all those people who have been a victim of a stalker, those who are being stalked and any person who believes stalking should be a singular criminal offence in Scotland to write into Scottish Parliament to support the amendment.

All letters should be addressed to the Clerk of the Justice Committee. The next sitting of the Justice Committee when the proposed anti stalking amendment will be voted on will be either 13th or 20th April. It is important to gain as much support for this as possible.
