Central Scotland Youth Project is an innovative process that offers young people opportunities to increase self-esteem, to achieve and develop confidence whilst enhancing mainstream education. Following consultation with service users as to how best to address the issues surrounding the cause and effects of all kinds of violence, the consensus of opinion was to “teach” young people that where there was respect, there would be no violence. The Youth Project was then designed and developed and has been delivered over a six week period to 1st /2nd / 3rd year pupils within secondary schools throughout forth Valley since 1999.

These talks are provided annually in secondary schools throughout Forth Valley.
