Domestic Abuse Service

Domestic Abuse Service works throughout West Lothian with children aged 3-16 and women from all ethnic backgrounds.
 
The organisation responds to crisis situations and provides information on personal safety and advocacy whilst also providing general support and advice. This work provides a secondary and tertiary preventative service to women who have experienced abuse.
 
As well as providing support for those who have experienced abuse we also organise and engage with other organisations in the delivery of a Preventative Education Programme (PEP) to a number of secondary schools in West Lothian.
 
The pilot programme of the PEP was evaluated which led to changes in the current PEP. The PEP will be evaluated during the current session.
