Scottish Women's Aid

SWA has forty affiliated groups who provide support, housing, advice and outreach work to women, children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse. It is also a lobbying organisation working at a strategic level to influence policy to ensure that the needs of women, children and young people experiencing domestic abuse are represented and responded to.

Scottish Women's Aid has a Prevention Worker whose role is to lobby Government nationally and locally to ensure that children and young people's services actively tackle gender inequality.

The local groups carry out prevention education in schools, youth work settings etc. The Prevention Worker is currently mapping this activity and is happy to share this information.
