Role/Remit

South Ayrshire's Multi-Agency Partnership (MAP) to tackle Violence Against Women is working together to try to dismantle all aspects of violence against women including (but not limited to) domestic abuse, rape, sexual assault, sexual harassment, child sexual abuse and commercial sexual exploitation.
 
Prevention Work

Prevention work includes raising awareness in the community of issues around violence against women and challenging those attitudes that allow it to be tolerated.
