Aberdeenshire Gender Based Abuse Partnership

Role/remit

Multi-agency partnership which supports strategic development of services across the public, private and third sector, to address gender-based abuse in Aberdeenshire.

Services for:

Adults and children affected by gender-based abuse

Prevention work: primary, secondary and tertiary

Provides strategic support and direction to a number of services including:

• Aberdeenshire Council gender-based abuse outreach service
• Aberdeenshire Council (housing and social work) Homelessness Service
• Grampian Women’s Aid refuge and support provision

Other prevention work in area

Alcohol Support Accident and Emergency Gender Based Abuse hospital-based support service.
Partnership supports prevention work carried out in schools by outreach project and police liaison officers.

Evaluation of prevention work

All project work is continuously evaluated through recording of customer feedback, data analysis, reporting and governance structures within partner organisations.  Each partner organisation can provide details of evaluations of work which they lead on.
